Way too often, these projects come with a multitude of stresses, poor laid down plans and drawings with little detail quickly spiralling out of control and becoming overwhelming to the homeowner. Before you know it, costs have also escalated so is it really worth taking the risk?

A good set of drawings will save you time, effort and expense in the long term. Drawings communicate the idea to the construction team in a format they can understand. It therefore makes sense that the drawings have all the information, resolve any design issues prior to starting on site and show the design the client wants. Poor drawings will rely on luck, the builder's interpretation and his generosity when it comes to costing issues or changes that occur during the build.

Consultation - We start with a free design consultation where we like to take time to understand each client’s vision, so our first port of call is to meet you and your family to gain an understanding of what your goals are, your likes and dislikes and your lifestyle

Design Development - Moving forward to create the ‘bigger picture’ we work with you to advance your brief. We jointly discuss your ideals, design choices and even home in on the smaller matters such as lighting, storage, energy reduction etc. areas that can make a real difference in creating a living space that works for you and your family. At this stage we also like to gain as much information about the features of your property to conduct a detailed measured survey to record the existing layout of your property and ensure there are no hidden surprises further along the line. Each project has the opportunity to be designed environmentally as well.

Technical Drawings – Now at the technical stage, detailed hand drawn sketches, 3D visuals and even physical models are produced to provide building, specifications and schedules for both building regulation compliance and for the contractor to build the project. We can also help co-ordinate the work of other consultants that you may need for your project.

Planning & Building Regulations - If permission is required, we draw up and prepare a full set of drawings, detailed plans and documents to show compliance with national standards for building and construction and submit for approval which we can do on your behalf.

Construction - Once planning regulation and building approval is agreed, your idea starts to become a reality and it’s all systems go! At this stage we than prepare full detailed technical drawings/specifications for your builder.

Project Management - We can handle the whole project! We can help manage the flow of information to the builder and other consultants working on your project creating efficiency plus giving you peace of mind.
