What services do you offer?

We offer a full range of services for both commercial construction and residential development. From design ideas and solutions for extensions, conversions, new build, listed properties to drawings, planning and Building Regulation applications, architectural project management and measured building surveys. Having worked for some of the UK’s leading architectural and new-build companies, we can offer you our extensive experience and peace of mind.

How does the design process work?

Granby Architectural Design will work with you to fulfil your requirements every step of the way. Our architectural design process is normally divided into 4 phases – consultation, pre-design, design development, construction drawings. Find out more here.

Do you have experience with the building type and size of my project?

Granby Architectural Design has over 30 years of experience working within all sectors of the industry and we have a substantial portfolio of work that we would be more than happy to share with you.

How do you charge?

Once both parties are happy with the brief we work out and charge a set fee with no hidden extras. Therefore you know exactly what your project will cost. However, there are unforeseen occasions when there may be a change to the construction or an unexpected alteration which may require an amendment to the drawings. If there are any changes to your project later down the line, we can again work together to agree on any additional fee.

Can you help with reducing the environmental impact?

We have a keen interest in environmentally sustainable building and reducing the impact on the environment is important to us. We always, where possible, include these strategies into your project.

Do you stay involved during the construction process?

Some projects require our oversight during construction therefore we, depending on your needs, can be involved while your project is taking shape. This can be discussed and will be included within our quotation/end cost.

Can you recommend any builders or contractors to help with my project?

We have a team of highly experienced firms and individuals we work alongside and are therefore familiar with their strengths and reputation. We are more than happy to recommend based on the needs of your particular project.
